Numbers 14:9

9Only ado not rebel against the Lord. And bdo not fear the people of the land, for cthey are bread for us. Their protection is removed from them, and the Lord is with us; do not fear them.”

Numbers 14:42-43

42 dDo not go up, efor the Lord is not among you, lest you be struck down before your enemies. 43For there fthe Amalekites and the Canaanites are facing you, and you shall fall by the sword. Because you have turned back from following the Lord, the Lord will not be with you.”

Joshua 7:12

12 gTherefore the people of Israel cannot stand before their enemies. They hturn their backs before their enemies, because they have become idevoted for destruction.
That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
I will be with you no more, unless you destroy kthe devoted things from among you.

Therefore I have summoned you to tell me what I shall do.” 16And Samuel said, “Why then do you ask me, since the Lord has turned from you and become your enemy?

2 Chronicles 15:2

2and he went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: tThe Lord is with you while you are with him. uIf you seek him, he will be found by you, vbut if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
