Numbers 15:30-36

30 aBut the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from among his people. 31Because he has bdespised the word of the Lord and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.”

A Sabbathbreaker Executed

32While the people of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man cgathering sticks on the Sabbath day. 33And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation. 34 dThey put him in custody, because it had not been made clear what should be done to him. 35And the Lord said to Moses, e“The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall fstone him with stones outside the camp.” 36And all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death with stones, as the Lord commanded Moses.

Numbers 16:31-35

31 gAnd as soon as he had finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart. 32And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and hall the people who belonged to Korah and all their goods. 33So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed over them, and ithey perished from the midst of the assembly. 34And all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they said, “Lest the earth swallow us up!” 35And jfire came out from the Lord and consumed kthe 250 men offering the incense.

Numbers 16:49

49Now those who died in the plague were 14,700, lbesides those who died in the affair of Korah.

Numbers 20:11-12

11And Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock with his staff twice, mand water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their livestock. 12And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because nyou did not believe in me, oto uphold me as holy in the eyes of the people of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them.”

Numbers 21:6

6 pThen the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and qthey bit the people, so that many people of Israel died.

Numbers 25:9

9Nevertheless, rthose who died by the plague were twenty-four thousand.

Deuteronomy 4:3-4

3Your eyes have seen what the Lord did sat Baal-peor, for the Lord your God destroyed from among you all the men who followed the Baal of Peor. 4But you who held fast to the Lord your God are all alive today.

Deuteronomy 17:2

2 tIf there is found among you, within any of your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, a man or woman who does what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, uin transgressing his covenant,

Deuteronomy 17:5

5then you shall bring out to your gates that man or woman who has done this evil thing, and you vshall stone that man or woman to death with stones.

Deuteronomy 17:12

12The man who wacts presumptuously by not obeying the priest xwho stands to minister there before the Lord your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So yyou shall purge the evil from Israel.
