Numbers 16:30-34

30But if the Lord creates something new, and athe ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they bgo down alive into Sheol, then you shall know that these men have despised the Lord.”

31 cAnd as soon as he had finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart. 32And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and dall the people who belonged to Korah and all their goods. 33So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed over them, and ethey perished from the midst of the assembly. 34And all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they said, “Lest the earth swallow us up!”

Psalms 9:17

17 The wicked shall freturn to Sheol,
all the nations that gforget God.

Psalms 55:15

15Let death steal over them;
let them go down to Sheol halive;
for evil is in their dwelling place and in their heart.

Proverbs 14:32

32 iThe wicked is overthrown through his evildoing,
but jthe righteous finds refuge in his death.

Ezekiel 32:19

19 kWhom do you surpass in beauty?
Go down and lbe laid to rest with the uncircumcised.’
