Numbers 16:9-11

9is it atoo small a thing for you that the God of Israel has bseparated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself, to do service in the tabernacle of the Lord and to stand before the congregation to minister to them, 10and that he has brought you near him, and all your brothers the sons of Levi with you? And would you seek the priesthood also? 11Therefore it is against the Lord that you and all your company have gathered together. What is cAaron that you grumble against him?”

Numbers 17:5

5And the staff of the man dwhom I choose shall sprout. Thus I will make to cease from me ethe grumblings of the people of Israel, which they grumble against you.”

1 Chronicles 28:4-5

4Yet the Lord God of Israel fchose me from all my father’s house to be king over Israel gforever. hFor he chose Judah as leader, and in the house of Judah my father’s ihouse, and among my father’s sons he took pleasure in me to make me king over all Israel. 5And of jall my sons (for the Lord has given me many sons) he khas chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.

Jeremiah 1:5
