Numbers 17:12-13
12And the people of Israel said to Moses, “Behold, we perish, we are undone, we are all undone. 13 aEveryone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of the Lord, shall die. Are we all to perish?”1 Samuel 5:8-12
8So they sent and gathered together all bthe lords of the Philistines and said, “What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel?” They answered, “Let the ark of the God of Israel be brought around to Gath.” So they brought the ark of the God of Israel there. 9But after they had brought it around, cthe hand of the Lord was against the city, causing a very great panic, and he afflicted the men of the city, both young and old, so that dtumors broke out on them. 10So they sent the ark of God to Ekron. But as soon as the ark of God came to Ekron, the people of Ekron cried out, “They have brought around to us the ark of the God of Israel to kill us and our people.” 11 eThey sent therefore and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines and said, “Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it return to its own place, that it may not kill us and our people.” For there was a deathly panic throughout the whole city. fThe hand of God was very heavy there. 12The men who did not die were struck with gtumors, and the cry of the city went up to heaven.2 Samuel 6:7
7And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah, and hGod struck him down there because of his error, and he died there beside the ark of God.2 Samuel 6:9
9And David was afraid of the Lord that day, and he said, “How can the ark of the Lord come to me?”1 Chronicles 13:11-13
11And David was angry because the Lord had broken out against Uzzah. And that place is called Perez-uzza ▼▼ Perez-uzza means the breaking out against Uzzah
to this day. 12And David was afraid of God that day, and he said, “How can I bring the ark of God home to me?” 13So David did not take the ark home into the city of David, but took it aside to the house jof Obed-edom the Gittite. Psalms 76:7
