Numbers 18:8-20

8Then the Lord spoke to Aaron, “Behold, aI have given you charge of the contributions made to me, all the consecrated things of the people of Israel. I have given them to you bas a portion and to your sons as a perpetual due. 9This shall be yours of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every offering of theirs, every grain offering of theirs and every csin offering of theirs and every dguilt offering of theirs, which they render to me, shall be most holy to you and to your sons. 10In a most holy place shall you eat it. Every male may eat it; it is holy to you. 11This also is yours: the contribution of their gift, all the ewave offerings of the people of Israel. I have given them to fyou, and to your sons and daughters with you, as a perpetual due. gEveryone who is clean in your house may eat it. 12 hAll the best of the oil and all the best of the wine and of the grain, ithe firstfruits of what they give to the Lord, I give to you. 13The first ripe fruits of all that is in their land, jwhich they bring to the Lord, shall be yours. kEveryone who is clean in your house may eat it. 14 lEvery devoted thing in Israel shall be yours. 15 mEverything that opens the womb of all flesh, whether man or beast, which they offer to the Lord, shall be yours. Nevertheless, nthe firstborn of man you shall redeem, and the firstborn of unclean animals you shall redeem. 16And their redemption price o(at a month old you shall redeem them) you shall fix at five shekels
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
in silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, qwhich is twenty gerahs.
17 rBut the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, you shall not redeem; they are holy. You shall sprinkle their blood on the altar and shall burn their fat as a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 18But their flesh shall be yours, as sthe breast that is waved and as the right thigh are yours. 19 tAll the holy contributions that the people of Israel present to the Lord I give to you, and to your sons and daughters with you, as a perpetual due. uIt is a covenant of salt forever before the Lord for you and for your offspring with you.” 20And the Lord said to Aaron, “You shall have no inheritance in their land, neither shall you have any portion among them. vI am your portion and your inheritance among the people of Israel.

Numbers 35:2-8

2 wCommand the people of Israel to give to the Levites some of the inheritance of their possession as cities for them to dwell in. And you shall give to the Levites pasturelands around the cities. 3The cities shall be theirs to dwell in, and their pasturelands shall be for their cattle and for their livestock and for all their beasts. 4The pasturelands of the cities, which you shall give to the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city outward a thousand cubits
A  cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters
all around.
5And you shall measure, outside the city, on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits, the city being in the middle. This shall belong to them as pastureland for their cities.

6“The cities that you give to the Levites shall be ythe six cities of refuge, where you shall permit the manslayer to flee, and in addition to them you shall give forty-two cities. 7All the cities that you give to the Levites shall be zforty-eight, with their pasturelands. 8And as for the cities that you shall give aafrom the possession of the people of Israel, abfrom the larger tribes you shall take many, and from the smaller tribes you shall take few; each, in proportion to the inheritance that it inherits, shall give of its cities to the Levites.”

Deuteronomy 18:1-5

Provision for Priests and Levites

1“The Levitical priests, all the tribe of Levi, acshall have no portion or inheritance with Israel. They adshall eat the Lord’s food offerings

2They shall have no inheritance among their brothers; the Lord is their inheritance, as he promised them. 3And this shall be the priestsdue from the people, from those offering a sacrifice, whether an ox or a sheep: agthey shall give to the priest the shoulder and the two cheeks and the stomach. 4 ahThe firstfruits of your grain, of your wine and of your oil, and the first fleece of your sheep, you shall give him. 5For the Lord your God has chosen him out of all your tribes aito stand and minister in the name of the Lord, him and his sons for all time.
