Numbers 18:9-19

9This shall be yours of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every offering of theirs, every grain offering of theirs and every asin offering of theirs and every bguilt offering of theirs, which they render to me, shall be most holy to you and to your sons. 10In a most holy place shall you eat it. Every male may eat it; it is holy to you. 11This also is yours: the contribution of their gift, all the cwave offerings of the people of Israel. I have given them to dyou, and to your sons and daughters with you, as a perpetual due. eEveryone who is clean in your house may eat it. 12 fAll the best of the oil and all the best of the wine and of the grain, gthe firstfruits of what they give to the Lord, I give to you. 13The first ripe fruits of all that is in their land, hwhich they bring to the Lord, shall be yours. iEveryone who is clean in your house may eat it. 14 jEvery devoted thing in Israel shall be yours. 15 kEverything that opens the womb of all flesh, whether man or beast, which they offer to the Lord, shall be yours. Nevertheless, lthe firstborn of man you shall redeem, and the firstborn of unclean animals you shall redeem. 16And their redemption price m(at a month old you shall redeem them) you shall fix at five shekels
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
in silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, owhich is twenty gerahs.
17 pBut the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, you shall not redeem; they are holy. You shall sprinkle their blood on the altar and shall burn their fat as a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 18But their flesh shall be yours, as qthe breast that is waved and as the right thigh are yours. 19 rAll the holy contributions that the people of Israel present to the Lord I give to you, and to your sons and daughters with you, as a perpetual due. sIt is a covenant of salt forever before the Lord for you and for your offspring with you.”

1 Corinthians 9:6-14

6Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to refrain from working for a living? 7 tWho serves as a soldier at his own expense? uWho plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?

8Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? 9For it is written in the Law of Moses, v“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 10Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written wfor our sake, because xthe plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. 11 yIf we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? 12If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more?

Nevertheless, zwe have not made use of this right, but we endure anything aarather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ.
13Do you not know that abthose who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? 14In the same way, the Lord commanded that acthose who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel.

Galatians 6:6
