Numbers 19:12-13

12He ashall cleanse himself with the water on the third day and on the seventh day, and so be clean. But if he does not cleanse himself on the third day and on the seventh day, he will not become clean. 13Whoever touches a dead person, the body of anyone who has died, and does not cleanse himself, bdefiles the tabernacle of the Lord, cand that person shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not thrown on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is still on him.

Numbers 19:19-20

19And the clean person shall sprinkle it on the unclean don the third day and on the seventh day. eThus on the seventh day he shall cleanse him, and he shall fwash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and at evening he shall be clean.

Hebrews 10:1-4

Christ’s Sacrifice Once for All

1For since the law has but va shadow wof the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, xit can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. 2Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? 3But yin these sacrifices zthere is a reminder of sins every year. 4For aait is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
