Numbers 19:16
16 aWhoever in the open field touches someone who was killed with a sword or who died naturally, or touches a human bone or a bgrave, shall be unclean seven days.Numbers 19:18
18Then a clean person shall take chyssop and dip it in the water and sprinkle it on the tent and on all the furnishings and on the persons who were there and on whoever touched the bone, or the slain or the dead or the grave.2 Kings 23:16
16And as Josiah turned, he saw the tombs there on the mount. And he sent and took the bones out of the tombs and burned them on the altar and defiled it, daccording to the word of the Lord that the man of God proclaimed, who had predicted these things.Jeremiah 8:1-2
1“At that time, declares the Lord, the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be brought out of their tombs. 2And they shall be spread ebefore the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. fAnd they shall not be gathered or buried. gThey shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.Ezekiel 39:12-16
12For hseven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order ito cleanse the land. 13All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day that jI show my glory, declares the Lord God. 14They will set apart men to travel through the land regularly and bury those travelers remaining on the face of the land, so as kto cleanse it.
