Moses Strikes the Rock

10 Then Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said to them, ^a“Hear now, you rebels: shall we bring water for you out of this rock?” 11 And Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock with his staff twice, ^band water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their livestock.

Numbers 21:16

16 And from there they continued ^cto Beer; ^{▼▼ Beer means well} that is the well of which the Lord said to Moses, “Gather the people together, so that ^eI may give them water.”

Psalms 78:15-16

15 He ^fsplit rocks in the wilderness
and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep.
16 He made streams come out of ^gthe rock
