that the nobles of the people dug,
with dthe scepter and with their staffs.”
And from the wilderness they went on to Mattanah,
2 Kings 3:16-20
16And he said, “Thus says the Lord, ‘I will make this dry streambed full of pools.’ 17For thus says the Lord, ‘You shall not see wind or rain, but that streambed shall be filled with water, so that you shall drink, you, your livestock, and your animals.’ 18This is a light thing in the sight of the Lord. He will also give the Moabites into your hand, 19and you shall attack every fortified city and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree and stop up all springs of water eand ruin every good piece of land with stones.” 20The next morning, about the time of foffering the sacrifice, behold, water came from the direction of Edom, till the country was filled with water.Psalms 114:8

Isaiah 35:6-7
6 jthen shall the lame man leap like a deer,and the tongue of the mute sing for joy.
kFor waters break forth in the wilderness,
and streams in the desert;

and the thirsty ground springs of water;
in the haunt of mjackals, where they lie down,
the grass shall become reeds and rushes.
Isaiah 41:17-19
17 nWhen the poor and needy seek water,and there is none,
and their tongue is parched with thirst,
I the Lord will answer them;
I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

and fountains in the midst of the valleys.
pI will make the wilderness a pool of water,
