Numbers 21:25-26

25And Israel took all these cities, and Israel settled in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all its villages. 26For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab and taken all his land out of his hand, as far as the Arnon.

Numbers 21:28

28For afire came out from bHeshbon,
flame from the city of Sihon.
It devoured cAr of Moab,
and swallowed
Septuagint; Hebrew the lords of
the heights of the Arnon.

Judges 11:26

26While Israel lived ein Heshbon and its villages, and fin Aroer and its villages, and in all the cities that are on the banks of the Arnon, 300 years, why did you not deliver them within that time?

Nehemiah 9:22

22“And you gave them kingdoms and peoples and allotted to them every corner. gSo they took possession of the land of Sihon king of Heshbon hand the land of Og king of Bashan.

Isaiah 15:4

the shout has ceased.

Jeremiah 48:2

2the renown of Moab is no more.
In pHeshbon they planned disaster against her:
Come, let us cut her off qfrom being a nation!’
You also, O rMadmen, shall be brought to silence;
the sword shall pursue you.

Jeremiah 48:34

34 sFrom the outcry at Heshbon even to Elealeh, as far as Jahaz they utter their voice, from Zoar to tHoronaim and Eglath-shelishiyah. For the waters of Nimrim also have become desolate.

Jeremiah 48:45

45 “In the shadow of Heshbon
fugitives stop without strength,
for fire came out from Heshbon,
flame from the house of Sihon;
it has destroyed uthe forehead of Moab,
the crown of vthe sons of tumult.
