Numbers 22:11

11Behold, a people has come out of Egypt, and it covers the face of the earth. Now come, curse them for me. Perhaps I shall be able to fight against them and drive them out.’”

17 afor I will surely do you great honor, and whatever you say to me I will do. bCome, curse this people for me.’”

Numbers 23:7-8

7And Balaam ctook up his discourse and said,

“From dAram Balak has brought me,
the king of Moab efrom the eastern mountains:
Come, fcurse Jacob for me,
and come, denounce Israel!’
8How can I curse whom God has not cursed?
How can I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?

Numbers 24:10

10And Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he gstruck his hands together. And Balak said to Balaam, h“I called you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have blessed them these three times.
