Numbers 22:16-17

16 And they came to Balaam and said to him, “Thus says Balak the son of Zippor: ‘Let nothing hinder you from coming to me, 17 ^afor I will surely do you great honor, and whatever you say to me I will do. ^bCome, curse this people for me.’”

1 Samuel 28:10

10 But Saul swore to her by the Lord, ^c“As the Lord lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.”
