Numbers 22:2-4

2And aBalak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites. 3And bMoab was in great dread of the people, because they were many. Moab was overcome with fear of the people of Israel. 4And Moab said to cthe elders of Midian, “This horde will now lick up all that is around us, as the ox licks up the grass of the field.” So Balak the son of Zippor, who was king of Moab at that time,

Numbers 24:17

17 dI see him, but not now;
I behold him, but not near:
ea star shall come out of Jacob,
and fa scepter shall rise out of Israel;
it shall gcrush the forehead
Hebrew corners [of the head]
of Moab
and break down all the sons of Sheth.

Numbers 25:17-18

17 iHarass the Midianites and strike them down, 18for they have harassed you with their jwiles, with which they beguiled you in the matter of kPeor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of the chief of Midian, their sister, who was killed on the day of the plague on account of Peor.”

Deuteronomy 2:9

9And the Lord said to me, n‘Do not harass Moab or contend with them in battle, for I will not give you any of their land for a possession, because I have given oAr to pthe people of Lot for a possession.’

Deuteronomy 2:19

19And when you approach the territory of the people of Ammon, qdo not harass them or contend with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to rthe sons of Lot for a possession.’

21And Ehud reached with his left hand, took the sword from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly.

Judges 3:28

28And he said to them, “Follow after me, sfor the Lord has given your enemies the Moabites into your hand.” So they went down after him and seized tthe fords of the Jordan against the Moabites and did not allow anyone to pass over.

Judges 3:30

30So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. uAnd the land had rest for eighty years.
