Numbers 22:28

28Then the Lord aopened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”

Numbers 24:2

2And Balaam lifted up his eyes and saw Israel bcamping tribe by tribe. And cthe Spirit of God came upon him,

14And now, behold, I am going to my people. Come, dI will let you know what this people will do to your people ein the latter days.”

Balaam’s Final Oracle

15 fAnd he took up his discourse and said,

“The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor,
the oracle of the man whose eye is opened,
16the oracle of him who hears the words of God,
and knows the knowledge of gthe Most High,
who sees the vision of the Almighty,
hfalling down with his eyes uncovered:
17 iI see him, but not now;
I behold him, but not near:
ja star shall come out of Jacob,
and ka scepter shall rise out of Israel;
it shall lcrush the forehead
Hebrew corners [of the head]
of Moab
and break down all the sons of Sheth.
18 nEdom shall be dispossessed;
oSeir also, his enemies, shall be dispossessed.
Israel is doing valiantly.
19And one from Jacob shall exercise dominion
and destroy the survivors of cities!”
20Then he looked on Amalek and ptook up his discourse and said,

Amalek was the first among the nations,
qbut its end is utter destruction.”
21And he looked on the Kenite, and took up his discourse and said,

Enduring is your dwelling place,
and your nest is set in the rock.
22Nevertheless, Kain shall be burned
when Asshur takes you away captive.”
23And he took up his discourse and said,

Alas, who shall live when God does this?
24But ships shall come from rKittim
and shall afflict Asshur and sEber;
and he too tshall come to utter destruction.”
25Then Balaam rose and uwent back to his place. And Balak also went his way.

Matthew 7:22-23

22 vOn that day wmany will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not xprophesy in your name, and cast out demons yin your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 zAnd then will I declare to them, ‘I aanever knew you; abdepart from me, acyou workers of lawlessness.’

2 Peter 2:15-17

15Forsaking the right way, afthey have gone astray. They have followed agthe way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved ahgain from wrongdoing, 16but was rebuked for his own transgression; aia speechless donkey spoke with human voice and restrained the prophet’s madness.
