Numbers 22:38

38 Balaam said to Balak, “Behold, I have come to you! Have I now any power of my own to speak anything? ^aThe word that God puts in my mouth, that must I speak.”

Numbers 23:5

5 And the Lord ^bput a word in Balaam’s mouth and said, “Return to Balak, and thus you shall speak.”

Numbers 23:20

20 Behold, I received a command to bless:
^che has blessed, and ^dI cannot revoke it.

Numbers 24:10-13

10 And Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he ^estruck his hands together. And Balak said to Balaam, ^f“I called you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have blessed them these three times. 11 Therefore now flee to your own place. I said, ^g‘I will certainly honor you,’ but the Lord has held you back from honor.” 12 And Balaam said to Balak, “Did I not tell your messengers whom you sent to me, 13 ^h‘If Balak should give me his house full of silver and gold, I would not be able to go beyond the word of the Lord, to do either good or bad ⁱof my own will. What the Lord speaks, that will I speak’?

Job 1:10

10 Have you not put ^ja hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have ^kblessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
