7So the elders of Moab and athe elders of Midian departed with bthe fees for divination in their hand. And they came to Balaam and gave him Balak’s message.Numbers 25:15-18
15And the name of the Midianite woman who was killed was Cozbi the daughter of cZur, who was the tribal head of a father’s house in Midian.16And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 17 d“Harass the Midianites and strike them down, 18for they have harassed you with their ewiles, with which they beguiled you in the matter of fPeor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of the chief of Midian, their sister, who was killed on the day of the plague on account of Peor.”
Numbers 31:8
8They killed the kings of Midian with the rest of their slain, gEvi, Rekem, hZur, Hur, and Reba, the five kings of Midian. And they also killed iBalaam the son of Beor with the sword.Joshua 13:21-22
