Numbers 23:1-2
Balaam’s First Oracle
1And Balaam said to Balak, a“Build for me here seven altars, and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams.” 2Balak did as Balaam had said. And Balak and Balaam boffered on each altar a bull and a ram.Job 42:8
8Now therefore take cseven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and doffer up a burnt offering for yourselves. And my servant Job shall epray for you, for I will accept his prayer not to deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.”Hebrews 10:8-12
8When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in fsacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), 9then he added, g“Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. 10And by that will hwe have been sanctified through the offering of ithe body of Jesus Christ jonce for all.11And every priest stands kdaily at his service, loffering repeatedly the same sacrifices, mwhich can never take away sins. 12But when Christ ▼
