Numbers 23:19

19 aGod is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

Romans 4:13-14

The Promise Realized Through Faith

13For bthe promise to Abraham and his offspring cthat he would be heir of the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith. 14 dFor if it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void.

Galatians 3:21

21Is the law then contrary to the promises of God? Certainly not! For eif a law had been given that could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law.

Hebrews 6:13-18

The Certainty of God’s Promise

13For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, fhe swore by himself, 14saying, gSurely I will bless you and multiply you.” 15And thus Abraham,
Greek he
ihaving patiently waited, obtained the promise.
16For people swear by something greater than themselves, and in all their disputes jan oath is final for confirmation. 17So when God desired to show more convincingly to kthe heirs of the promise lthe unchangeable character of his purpose, mhe guaranteed it with an oath, 18so that by two unchangeable things, in which nit is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope oset before us.
