Psalms 91:13

13You will tread on dthe lion and the eadder;
the young lion and fthe serpent you will gtrample underfoot.

Isaiah 31:4

4 For thus the Lord said to me,
h“As a lion or a young lion growls over his prey,
and when a band of shepherds is called out against him
he is not terrified by their shouting
or daunted at their noise,
iso the Lord of hosts will come down
to fight
The Hebrew words for  hosts and  to fight sound alike
on Mount Zion and on its hill.

Hosea 5:14

14For I will be klike a lion to lEphraim,
and like a young lion to the house of mJudah.
nI, even I, will tear and go away;
I will carry off, and no one shall rescue.

Micah 5:8

8And othe remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations,
in the midst of many peoples,
like a lion among the beasts of the forest,
like a young lion among the flocks of sheep,
pwhich, when it goes through, treads down
and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver.
