Numbers 23:7

7 And Balaam ^atook up his discourse and said,

“From ^bAram Balak has brought me,
the king of Moab ^cfrom the eastern mountains:
‘Come, ^dcurse Jacob for me,
and come, denounce Israel!’

Deuteronomy 23:4

4 ^ebecause they did not meet you with bread and with water on the way, when you came out of Egypt, and because they ^fhired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of ^gMesopotamia, to curse you.
