Numbers 23:8

8How can I curse whom God has not cursed?
How can I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?

Deuteronomy 23:4-5

4 abecause they did not meet you with bread and with water on the way, when you came out of Egypt, and because they bhired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of cMesopotamia, to curse you. 5But the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam; instead the Lord your God turned dthe curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loved you.

1 Samuel 14:28-29

28Then one of the people said, “Your father strictly charged the people with an oath, saying, ‘Cursed be the man who eats food this day.’” And the people were efaint. 29Then Jonathan said, “My father has troubled the land. See how my eyes have become bright because I tasted a little of this honey.

1 Samuel 17:43

43And the Philistine said to David, “Am I fa dog, that you come to me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.

2 Samuel 16:12

12It may be that the Lord will look on the wrong done to me,
Septuagint, Vulgate  will look upon my affliction
and that the Lord will repay me with good for his cursing today.”

Nehemiah 13:2

2for they did not meet the people of Israel with bread and water, but hired Balaam against them to curse them—yet our God turned the curse into a blessing.
