Numbers 24:17

17 aI see him, but not now;
I behold him, but not near:
ba star shall come out of Jacob,
and ca scepter shall rise out of Israel;
it shall dcrush the forehead
Hebrew corners [of the head]
of Moab
and break down all the sons of Sheth.

Isaiah 11:14

14 fBut they shall swoop down on the shoulder of the Philistines in the west,
and together they shall plunder gthe people of the east.
They shall put out their hand hagainst iEdom and jMoab,
and kthe Ammonites shall obey them.

Isaiah 15

An Oracle Concerning Moab

1An loracle concerning mMoab.

Because nAr of Moab is laid waste in a night,
Moab is undone;
because oKir of Moab is laid waste in a night,
Moab is undone.
2He has gone up to the temple,
Hebrew  the house
and to qDibon,
to the high places
Or temple, even Dibon to the high places
to weep;
over sNebo and over tMedeba
Moab uwails.
On every head is vbaldness;
every beard is shorn;
3in the streets they wear sackcloth;
on the housetops and in the squares
everyone wails and melts in tears.
4 wHeshbon and xElealeh cry out;
their voice is heard as far as yJahaz;
therefore the armed men of Moab cry aloud;
his soul trembles.
5My heart cries out for Moab;
her fugitives flee to Zoar,
to zEglath-shelishiyah.
For at the aaascent of Luhith
they go up weeping;
on the road to abHoronaim
they raise a cry of destruction;
6the waters of acNimrim
are a desolation;
the grass is withered, the vegetation fails,
the greenery is no more.
7 adTherefore the abundance they have gained
and what they have laid up
they carry away
over the Brook of the Willows.
8For a cry has gone
around the land of Moab;
her wailing reaches to Eglaim;
her wailing reaches to Beer-elim.
9For the waters of aeDibon
Dead Sea Scroll, Vulgate (compare Syriac); Masoretic Text Dimon; twice in this verse
are full of blood;
for I will bring upon Dibon even more,
aga lion for those of Moab who escape,
for the remnant of the land.

Isaiah 16

1 ahSend the lamb to the ruler of the land,
from aiSela, by way of the desert,
to the mount of the daughter of Zion.
2Like fleeing birds,
like a scattered nest,
so are the daughters of Moab
at ajthe fords of the Arnon.
3 Give counsel;
grant justice;
akmake your shade like night
at the height of noon;
shelter the outcasts;
do not reveal the fugitive;
4let althe outcasts of Moab
sojourn among you;
be a shelter to them
Some Hebrew manuscripts, Septuagint, Syriac; Masoretic Text  let my outcasts sojourn among you; as for Moab, be a shelter to them

from the destroyer.
When the oppressor is no more,
and destruction has ceased,
and he who tramples underfoot has vanished from the land,
5 anthen a throne will be established in steadfast love,
and on it will sit in faithfulness
in the tent of David
one who judges and seeks justice
and is swift to do righteousness.”
6 aoWe have heard of the pride of Moab
how proud he is!—
apof his arrogance, his pride, and his insolence;
in his idle boasting he is not right.
7Therefore let Moab wail for Moab,
aqlet everyone wail.
Mourn, utterly stricken,
for the arraisin cakes of asKir-hareseth.
8 For the fields of Heshbon languish,
and atthe vine of Sibmah;
the lords of the nations
have struck down its branches,
which reached to Jazer
and strayed to the desert;
its shoots spread abroad
and passed over the sea.
9Therefore auI weep with avthe weeping of Jazer
for the vine of Sibmah;
I drench you with my tears,
O Heshbon and Elealeh;
for over awyour summer fruit and your harvest
the shout has ceased.
10 axAnd joy and gladness are taken away from aythe fruitful field,
and in the vineyards no azsongs are sung,
no cheers are raised;
no batreader treads out wine bbin the presses;
I have put an end to the shouting.
11Therefore bcmy inner parts moan like a lyre for Moab,
and my inmost self for Kir-hareseth.
12And when Moab presents himself, when bdhe wearies himself on bethe high place, when he comes to his sanctuary to pray, he will not prevail.

13This is the word that the Lord spoke concerning Moab bfin the past. 14But now the Lord has spoken, saying, “In three years, bglike the years of a hired worker, the glory of Moab will be brought into contempt, in spite of all his great multitude, and those who remain will be bhvery few and feeble.”

Zephaniah 2:9

9Therefore, bias I live,” declares the Lord of hosts,
the God of Israel,
Moab shall become bjlike Sodom,
and the Ammonites bklike Gomorrah,
a land possessed by nettles and salt pits,
and a waste forever.
The remnant of my people shall plunder them,
and the survivors of my nation shall possess them.”
