Numbers 24:23

23 And he took up his discourse and said,

“Alas, who shall live when God does this?

Isaiah 45:7-8

7 I form light and create darkness,
I make well-being and ^acreate calamity;
I am the Lord, who does all these things.
8 ^b“Shower, O heavens, from above,
and ^clet the clouds rain down righteousness;
let the earth open, that salvation and righteousness may bear fruit;
let the earth cause them both to sprout;
I the Lord have created it.

Daniel 4:35

35 ^dall the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing,
and ^ehe does according to his will among the host of heaven
and among the inhabitants of the earth;
^fand none can stay his hand
or ^gsay to him, “What have you done?”
