Numbers 24:24

24But ships shall come from aKittim
and shall afflict Asshur and bEber;
and he too cshall come to utter destruction.”

Isaiah 5:26-30

26 He will draise a signal for nations far away,
and ewhistle for them ffrom the ends of the earth;
and behold, quickly, speedily they come!
27 gNone is weary, none stumbles,
none slumbers or sleeps,
not a waistband is loose,
not a sandal strap broken;
28 htheir arrows are sharp,
all their bows bent,
their horseshoofs seem like flint,
and their wheels ilike the whirlwind.
29Their roaring is like a lion,
like young lions they roar;
they growl and jseize their prey;
they carry it off, and none can rescue.
30They will growl over it on that day,
like the growling of the sea.
And if one looks to the land,
behold, kdarkness and distress;
and the light is darkened by its clouds.

Jeremiah 5:15-17

15 lBehold, I am bringing against you
a nation from afar, O house of Israel,

declares the Lord.
It is an enduring nation;
it is an ancient nation,
a nation whose language you do not know,
mnor can you understand what they say.
16 nTheir quiver is like oan open tomb;
they are all mighty warriors.
17 pThey shall eat up your harvest and your food;
they shall eat up your sons and your daughters;
they shall eat up your flocks and your herds;
they shall eat up your vines and your fig trees;
your qfortified cities in which you trust
they shall beat down with the sword.”

Daniel 6:22-23

22My God rsent his angel sand shut the lionsmouths, and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless tbefore him; uand also before you, O king, I have done no harm.” 23Then the king was exceedingly glad, and commanded that Daniel be taken up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and vno kind of harm was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.

Daniel 9:26

26And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall wbe cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come xshall destroy the city and the sanctuary. yIts

Habakkuk 1:6-7
