Numbers 25:11-13

11 “Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, has turned back my wrath from the people of Israel, in that he ^awas jealous with my jealousy among them, so that I did not consume the people of Israel in ^bmy jealousy. 12 Therefore say, ^c‘Behold, I give to him my covenant of peace, 13 and it shall be to him and to ^dhis descendants after him the covenant of ^ea perpetual priesthood, because he was jealous for his God and made atonement for the people of Israel.’”

1 Samuel 16:18

18 One of the young men answered, “Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, ^fa man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a man of good presence, ^gand the Lord is with him.”

Acts 7:9-10
