Numbers 27:18-23

18So the Lord said to Moses, “Take aJoshua the son of Nun, a man bin whom is the Spirit, and clay your hand on him. 19Make him stand before Eleazar the priest and all the congregation, and you shall dcommission him in their sight. 20You shall invest him with some of your authority, ethat all the congregation of the people of Israel may obey. 21And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him fby the judgment of the Urim before the Lord. At his word they shall go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the people of Israel with him, the whole congregation.” 22And Moses did as the Lord commanded him. He took Joshua and made him stand before Eleazar the priest and the whole congregation, 23and he laid his hands on him and gcommissioned him as the Lord directed through Moses.

Deuteronomy 1:38

38 hJoshua the son of Nun, iwho stands before you, he shall enter. jEncourage him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.

Deuteronomy 31:3

3The Lord your God khimself will go over before you. He will destroy these nations before you, so that you shall dispossess them, and Joshua will go over at your head, las the Lord has spoken.

7Then mMoses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, n“Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it.

A  talent was about 75 pounds or 34 kilograms
of gold, a million talents of silver, and ybronze and iron beyond weighing, for there is so much of it; timber and stone, too, I have provided. To these you must add.
15You have an abundance of workmen: stonecutters, masons, carpenters, and all kinds of craftsmen without number, skilled in working 16gold, silver, bronze, and iron. Arise and work! zThe Lord be with you!”

1 Chronicles 28:9-10

David’s Charge to Solomon

9“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a aawhole heart and with a willing mind, abfor the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. acIf you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever. 10Be careful now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; adbe strong and do it.”

1 Chronicles 28:20

20Then David said to Solomon his son, ae“Be strong and courageous and do it. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the Lord God, even my God, is with you. He will not leave you or forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished.
