Numbers 3:7-8

7 They shall keep guard over him and over the whole congregation before the tent of meeting, ^aas they minister at the tabernacle. 8 They shall guard all the furnishings of the tent of meeting, and keep guard over the people of Israel as they minister at the tabernacle.

Numbers 8:24-26

24 “This applies to the Levites: ^bfrom twenty-five years old and upward they ^{▼▼Hebrew he; also verses 25, 26} shall come to do duty in the service of the tent of meeting. 25 And from the age of fifty years they shall withdraw from the duty of the service and serve no more. 26 They minister ^{▼▼Hebrew He ministers} to their brothers in the tent of meeting ^eby keeping guard, but they shall do no service. Thus shall you do to the Levites in assigning their duties.”

Numbers 18:3-5

3 They shall keep guard over you and ^fover the whole tent, ^gbut shall not come near to the vessels of the sanctuary or to the altar ^hlest they, and you, die. 4 They shall join you and keep guard over the tent of meeting for all the service of the tent, ⁱand no outsider shall come near you. 5 And you shall ^jkeep guard over the sanctuary and over the altar, ^kthat there may never again be wrath on the people of Israel.

Numbers 31:30

30 And from the people of Israel’s half you shall take ^lone drawn out of every fifty, of the people, of the oxen, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, of all the cattle, and give them to the Levites ^mwho keep guard over the tabernacle of the Lord.”

Numbers 31:47

47 ⁿfrom the people of Israel’s half Moses took one of every 50, both of persons and of beasts, and gave them to the Levites who kept guard over the tabernacle of the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.

1 Chronicles 23:32

32 Thus ^othey were to keep charge of the tent of meeting and the sanctuary, and to attend the sons of Aaron, their brothers, for the ^pservice of the house of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 13:10
