Numbers 30:2

2 aIf a man vows a vow to the Lord, or bswears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word. cHe shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

Numbers 30:12

12But if her husband makes them null and void on the day that he hears them, then whatever proceeds out of her lips concerning her vows or concerning her pledge of herself shall not stand. Her husband has made them void, and dthe Lord will forgive her.

Deuteronomy 23:23

23You shall be careful to do what has passed your lips, for you have voluntarily vowed to the Lord your God what you have promised with your mouth.

Judges 11:36

36And she said to him, “My father, you have opened your mouth to the Lord; do to me according to what has gone out of your mouth, now that the Lord has avenged you on your enemies, on the Ammonites.”

Psalms 12:4

4those who say, “With our tongue we will prevail,
our lips are with us; who is master over us?”

Jeremiah 44:25

25Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: eYou and your wives have declared with your mouths, and have fulfilled it with your hands, saying, ‘We will surely perform our vows that we have made, fto make offerings to the queen of heaven and to pour out drink offerings to her.’ Then confirm your vows and perform your vows!

Mark 6:26

26And the king was exceedingly sorry, but because of his oaths and his guests he did not want to break his word to her.
