Numbers 30:2

2 aIf a man vows a vow to the Lord, or bswears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word. cHe shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

Judges 11:30-31

30And Jephthah dmade a vow to the Lord and said, “If you will give the Ammonites into my hand, 31then whatever
Or whoever
comes out from the doors of my house to meet me when I return in peace from the Ammonites fshall be the Lord’s, and gI will offer it

up for a burnt offering.”

Judges 11:35

35And as soon as he saw her, he tore his clothes and said, “Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low, and you have become the cause of great trouble to me. For I have opened my mouth to the Lord, iand I cannot take back my vow.”

1 Samuel 1:11

11And she jvowed a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if you will indeed klook on the affliction of your servant and lremember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, mand no razor shall touch his head.”

Psalms 66:13-14

13 I will come into your house with burnt offerings;
I will nperform my vows to you,
14that which my lips uttered
and my mouth promised owhen I was in trouble.

Psalms 116:18

18I will ppay my vows to the Lord
in the presence of all his people,

Proverbs 20:25

25It is a snare to say rashly, “It is holy,”
and to reflect only qafter making vows.
