Numbers 30:2

2 aIf a man vows a vow to the Lord, or bswears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word. cHe shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

Psalms 50:14

14 dOffer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving,
Or Make thanksgiving your sacrifice to God

and fperform your vows to the Most High,

Psalms 119:106

106I have gsworn an oath and confirmed it,
to keep your hrighteous rules.

Ecclesiastes 5:4-6

4When iyou vow a vow to God, jdo not delay paying it, for he has no pleasure in fools. kPay what you vow. 5 lIt is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay. 6Let not your mouth lead you
Hebrew your flesh
into sin, and do not say before nthe messenger
Or angel
that it was pa mistake. Why should God be angry at your voice and destroy the work of your hands?
