Numbers 30:5
5But if her father opposes her on the day that he hears of it, no vow of hers, no pledge by which she has bound herself shall stand. And the Lord will forgive her, because her father opposed her.Numbers 30:8
8But if, on the day that her husband comes to hear of it, he opposes her, then he makes void her avow that was on her, and the thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she bound herself. bAnd the Lord will forgive her.Joshua 2:17-20
17The men said to her, “We will be guiltless with respect to this oath of yours that you have made us swear. 18 cBehold, when we come into the land, you shall tie this scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, dand you shall gather into your house your father and mother, your brothers, and all your father’s household. 19Then if anyone goes out of the doors of your house into the street, ehis blood shall be on his own head, and we shall be guiltless. But if a hand is laid on anyone who is with you in the house, his blood shall be on our head. 20But if you ftell this business of ours, then we shall be guiltless with respect to your oath that you have made us swear.”Joshua 9:20
