Numbers 31:15-17

15Moses said to them, “Have you alet all the women live? 16Behold, bthese, con Balaam’s advice, caused the people of Israel to act treacherously against the Lord in the incident of dPeor, and so ethe plague came among the congregation of the Lord. 17Now therefore, fkill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him.

Deuteronomy 2:34

34And we captured all his cities at that time and devoted to destruction
That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
every hcity, men, women, and children. We left no survivors.

Deuteronomy 3:6

6And iwe devoted them to destruction,
That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction); twice in this verse
as we did to Sihon the king of Heshbon, devoting to destruction every kcity, men, women, and children.

Joshua 6:17-21

17And the city and all that is within it shall be ldevoted to the Lord for destruction.

As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and qthe wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city. 21Then they rdevoted all in the city to destruction, both men and women, young and old, oxen, sheep, and donkeys, with the edge of the sword.

1 Samuel 15:3

3Now go and strike Amalek and sdevote to destruction

Jerusalem Captured and Burned

17 vTherefore he brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or aged. He gave them all into his hand.
