Numbers 31:7-8

7They warred against Midian, as the Lord commanded Moses, and akilled every male. 8They killed the kings of Midian with the rest of their slain, bEvi, Rekem, cZur, Hur, and Reba, the five kings of Midian. And they also killed dBalaam the son of Beor with the sword.

Judges 7:22-25

22 eWhen they blew the 300 trumpets, fthe Lord set gevery man’s sword against his comrade and against all the army. And the army fled as far as Beth-shittah toward Zererah,

24 iGideon sent messengers throughout jall the hill country of Ephraim, saying, “Come down against the Midianites and capture the waters against them, as far as kBeth-barah, and also the Jordan.” So all the men of Ephraim were called out, and they captured the waters as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan. 25And they captured lthe two princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb. They killed Oreb mat the rock of Oreb, and Zeeb they killed at the winepress of Zeeb. Then they pursued Midian, and they brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon nacross the Jordan.

Isaiah 9:4

4 oFor the yoke of his burden,
pand the staff for his shoulder,
the rod of his oppressor,
you have broken as qon the day of Midian.

Isaiah 10:26

26And rthe Lord of hosts will wield against them a whip, as when he struck sMidian tat the rock of Oreb. And his staff will be over the sea, and he will lift it uas he did in Egypt.
