Reuben and Gad Settle in Gilead
1Now the people of Reuben and the people of Gad had a very great number of livestock. And they saw the land of aJazer and the land of Gilead, and behold, the place was a place for livestock.Numbers 32:35

8 For the fields of Heshbon languish,and cthe vine of Sibmah;
the lords of the nations
have struck down its branches,
which reached to Jazer
and strayed to the desert;
its shoots spread abroad
and passed over the sea.
9Therefore dI weep with ethe weeping of Jazer
for the vine of Sibmah;
I drench you with my tears,
O Heshbon and Elealeh;
for over fyour summer fruit and your harvest
the shout has ceased.
