Numbers 32:20
20So aMoses said to them, “If you will do this, if you will take up arms to go before the Lord for the war,Numbers 32:27
27 bbut your servants will pass over, every man who is carmed for war, before the Lord to battle, as my lord orders.”Numbers 32:29
29And Moses said to them, “If the people of Gad and the people of Reuben, every man who is armed to battle before the Lord, will pass with you over the Jordan and the land shall be subdued before you, then you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession.1 Samuel 17:47
47and that all this assembly may know that dthe Lord saves not with sword and spear. eFor the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hand.”1 Samuel 25:28
28Please forgive the trespass of your servant. For the Lord will certainly make my lord fa sure house, because my lord gis fighting the battles of the Lord, and evil shall not be found in you so long as you live.
