Numbers 33:48-50

48 And they set out from the mountains of Abarim and camped in ^athe plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho; 49 they camped by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth as far as ^bAbel-shittim in the plains of Moab.

Drive Out the Inhabitants

50 And the Lord spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,

8 See, I have set the land before you. Go in and take possession of the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, ^cto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them and to their offspring after them.’

The Death of Moses

1 Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab ^dto Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. And the Lord showed him all the land, Gilead as far as Dan, 2 all Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah ^eas far as the western sea, 3 ^fthe Negeb, and ^gthe Plain, that is, the Valley of Jericho ^hthe city of palm trees, as far as ⁱZoar. 4 And the Lord said to him, ^j“This is the land of which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, ‘I will give it to your offspring.’ ^kI have let you see it with your eyes, but ^lyou shall not go over there.”
