Numbers 33:52-53

52 then ^ayou shall drive out ^ball the inhabitants of the land from before you and destroy all their ^cfigured stones and destroy all their metal images and demolish all their high places. 53 And you shall take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given the land to you to possess it.

Deuteronomy 7:2

2 ^dand when the Lord your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must ^edevote them to complete destruction. ^{▼▼That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)} ^gYou shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them.

Deuteronomy 20:16-17

Joshua 8:8

8 And as soon as you have taken the city, you shall set the city on fire. You shall do according to the word of the Lord. ^kSee, I have commanded you.”

Joshua 8:31

31 just as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded the people of Israel, as it is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, “an altar of uncut stones, upon which no man has wielded an iron tool.” And they offered on it burnt offerings to the Lord and sacrificed peace offerings.

Joshua 9:24

24 They answered Joshua, “Because it was told to your servants for a certainty that the Lord your God had ^lcommanded his servant Moses to give you all the land and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you—so ^mwe feared greatly for our lives because of you and did this thing.

Joshua 10:40

40 So Joshua struck the whole land, the hill country and the Negeb and the lowland ⁿand the slopes, and all their kings. He left none remaining, ^obut devoted to destruction all that breathed, just as the Lord God of Israel commanded.

Joshua 11:15

15 ^pJust as the Lord had commanded Moses his servant, ^qso Moses commanded Joshua, ^rand so Joshua did. He left nothing undone of all that the Lord had commanded Moses.
