Numbers 35:33

33You shall not apollute the land in which you live, for blood bpollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except cby the blood of the one who shed it.

Deuteronomy 21:8-9

8Accept atonement, O Lord, for your people Israel, whom you have redeemed, and ddo not set the guilt of innocent blood in the midst of your people Israel, so that their blood guilt be atoned for.’ 9So eyou shall purge the guilt of innocent blood from your midst, when you do what is right in the sight of the Lord.

2 Kings 24:3-4

3Surely this came upon Judah at the command of the Lord, to remove them out of his sight, ffor the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, 4and also gfor the innocent blood that he had shed. For he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord would not pardon.

Jeremiah 2:34

34Also on your skirts is found
