Numbers 4:15

15And when Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, as the camp sets out, after that athe sons of Kohath shall come to carry these, bbut they must not touch the holy things, lest they die. These are the things of the tent of meeting that the sons of Kohath are to carry.

Numbers 7:9

9But to the sons of Kohath he gave none, because they were charged with cthe service of the holy things that dhad to be carried on the shoulder.

Joshua 3:3

3and commanded the people, “As soon as you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God being carried by ethe Levitical priests, then you shall set out from your place and follow it.

Joshua 3:6

6And Joshua said to the priests, f“Take up the ark of the covenant and pass on before the people.” So they took up the ark of the covenant and went before the people.

Joshua 3:15-17

15and as soon as those bearing the ark had come as far as the Jordan, and gthe feet of the priests bearing the ark were dipped in the brink of the water (now hthe Jordan overflows all its banks ithroughout the time of harvest), 16the waters coming down from above stood and rose up in a heap very far away, at Adam, the city that is beside jZarethan, and those flowing down toward the Sea of kthe Arabah, lthe Salt Sea, were completely cut off. And the people passed over opposite Jericho. 17Now the priests bearing the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firmly on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan, mand all Israel was passing over on dry ground until all the nation finished passing over the Jordan.

Joshua 4:16-18

16Command the priests bearing nthe ark of the testimony to come up out of the Jordan.” 17So Joshua commanded the priests, “Come up out of the Jordan.” 18And when the priests bearing the ark of the covenant of the Lord came up from the midst of the Jordan, and the soles of the priestsfeet were lifted up on dry ground, the waters of the Jordan returned to their place and overflowed all its banks, oas before.

Joshua 6:4

4Seven priests shall bear seven ptrumpets of qrams’ horns before the ark. On the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and rthe priests shall blow the trumpets.

Joshua 6:6

6So Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord.”

1 Samuel 4:3-5

3And when the people came to the camp, the elders of Israel said, “Why has the Lord defeated us today before the Philistines? Let us bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord here sfrom Shiloh, that it

4So the people sent to Shiloh and brought from there the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts, uwho is enthroned on the cherubim. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

5As soon as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp, all Israel vgave a mighty shout, so that the earth resounded.

1 Samuel 4:11

11 wAnd the ark of God was captured, xand the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, died.

2 Samuel 6:13

13And when ythose who bore the ark of the Lord had gone six steps, zhe sacrificed an ox and a fattened animal.
