Numbers 9:15-23

The Cloud Covering the Tabernacle

15 aOn the day that the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the testimony. And bat evening it was over the tabernacle like the appearance of fire until morning. 16So it was always: the cloud covered it by day
Septuagint, Syriac, Vulgate; Hebrew lacks  by day
and the appearance of fire by night.
17And whenever the cloud dlifted from over the tent, after that the people of Israel set out, and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the people of Israel camped. 18At the command of the Lord the people of Israel set out, and at the command of the Lord they camped. eAs long as the cloud rested over the tabernacle, they remained in camp. 19Even when the cloud continued over the tabernacle many days, the people of Israel fkept the charge of the Lord and did not set out. 20Sometimes the cloud was a few days over the tabernacle, and according to the command of the Lord they remained in camp; then according to the command of the Lord they set out. 21And sometimes the cloud remained from evening until morning. And when the cloud lifted in the morning, they set out, or if it continued for a day and a night, when the cloud lifted they set out. 22Whether it was two days, or a month, or a longer time, that the cloud continued over the tabernacle, abiding there, the people of Israel gremained in camp and did not set out, but when it lifted they set out. 23At the command of the Lord they camped, and at the command of the Lord they set out. hThey kept the charge of the Lord, at the command of the Lord by Moses.

1 Kings 8:10-11

10And when the priests came out of the Holy Place, ia cloud filled the house of the Lord, 11so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 5:13

13and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord), and when the song was raised, jwith trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord,

kFor he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever,”
the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud,

2 Chronicles 7:2

2And the priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord filled the Lord’s house.

Psalms 18:10-12

10He rode on a cherub and flew;
he came swiftly on lthe wings of the wind.
11He made darkness his covering, his mcanopy around him,
thick clouds ndark with water.
12Out of the brightness before him
ohailstones and coals of fire broke through his clouds.

Isaiah 4:5-6

5Then the Lord will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies pa cloud by day, and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be qa canopy. 6 rThere will be a sbooth for shade by day from the heat, and tfor a refuge and a shelter from the storm and rain.
