Philippians 2:1-5

Christ’s Example of Humility

1So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from alove, any bparticipation in the Spirit, any caffection and sympathy, 2 dcomplete my joy by being eof the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. 3Do nothing from fselfish ambition or gconceit, but in hhumility count others more significant than yourselves. 4Let each of you ilook not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 jHave this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,
Or which was also in Christ Jesus

Titus 3:4-8

4But when lthe goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5he saved us, mnot because of works done by us in righteousness, but naccording to his own mercy, by othe washing of regeneration and prenewal of the Holy Spirit, 6whom he qpoured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7so that rbeing justified by his grace we might become sheirs taccording to the hope of eternal life. 8The saying is utrustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful vto devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.

1 Peter 2:10-12

10 wOnce you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

11Beloved, I urge you xas sojourners and exiles yto abstain from the passions of the flesh, zwhich wage war against your soul. 12 aaKeep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, abthey may see your good deeds and glorify God on acthe day of visitation.
