Or which was also in Christ Jesus
6 cwho, though he was in dthe form of God, did not count equality with God ea thing to be grasped, 7but femptied himself, by taking the form of a gservant,
Greek bondservant
ibeing born in the likeness of men.
8And being found in human form, he humbled himself by jbecoming obedient to the point of death, keven death on a cross.

Hebrews 12:1-2

Jesus, Founder and Perfecter of Our Faith

1Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and lsin which clings so closely, and mlet us run nwith endurance the race that is oset before us, 2looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, pwho for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising qthe shame, and ris seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

1 Peter 2:18-24

18 sServants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust. 19For this is a gracious thing, when, tmindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. 20For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But uif when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. 21For vto this you have been called, wbecause Christ also suffered for you, xleaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. 22 yHe committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. 23 zWhen he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, aabut continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. 24 abHe himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we acmight die to sin and adlive to righteousness. aeBy his wounds you have been healed.
