Philippians 2:8-9

8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by ^abecoming obedient to the point of death, ^beven death on a cross. 9 ^cTherefore ^dGod has ^ehighly exalted him and bestowed on him ^fthe name that is above every name,

Hebrews 2:9-10

9 But we see him ^gwho for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, ^hcrowned with glory and honor ⁱbecause of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might ^jtaste death ^kfor everyone.

10 For it ^lwas fitting that he, ^mfor whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons ⁿto glory, should make the ^ofounder of their salvation ^pperfect through suffering.
