2 Peter 2:20-22

20For if, pafter they have escaped the defilements of the world qthrough the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, rthe last state has become worse for them than the first. 21For sit would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from tthe holy commandment delivered to them. 22What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The udog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”

2 Peter 3:16

16as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. vThere are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, was they do the other Scriptures.
