Testing of Your Faith

Or  brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church; also verses 16, 19

Suffering as a Christian

12Beloved, do not be surprised at jthe fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13But rejoice kinsofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad lwhen his glory is revealed.
