Proverbs 1:10-19

10My son, if sinners aentice you,
do not consent.
11If they say, “Come with us, blet us lie in wait for blood;
clet us ambush the innocent without reason;
12like Sheol let us dswallow them alive,
and whole, like ethose who go down to the pit;
13we shall find all precious goods,
we shall fill our houses with plunder;
14throw in your lot among us;
we will all have one purse”—
15my son, fdo not walk in the way with them;
ghold back your foot from their paths,
16for htheir feet run to evil,
and they make haste to shed blood.
17 iFor in vain is a net spread
in the sight of any bird,
18but these men jlie in wait for their own blood;
they kset an ambush for their own lives.
19 lSuch are the ways of everyone who is mgreedy for unjust gain;
nit takes away the life of its possessors.

Isaiah 5:23

23who oacquit the guilty for a bribe,
and deprive the innocent of his right!

Micah 7:3

3 pTheir hands are on what is evil, to do it well;
qthe prince and rthe judge ask for a bribe,
and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul;
thus they weave it together.

Romans 1:32
