Proverbs 1:11-13

11If they say, “Come with us, alet us lie in wait for blood;
blet us ambush the innocent without reason;
12like Sheol let us cswallow them alive,
and whole, like dthose who go down to the pit;
13we shall find all precious goods,
we shall fill our houses with plunder;

Hosea 12:7-8

7 A merchant, in whose hands are efalse balances,
he loves fto oppress.
8Ephraim has said, “Ah, but gI am rich;
I have found wealth for myself;
in all my labors hthey cannot find in me iniquity or sin.”

Amos 8:4-6

4 Hear this, iyou who trample on the needy
and bring the poor of the land to an end,
5saying, “When will jthe new moon be over,
that we may sell grain?
And kthe Sabbath,
that we may offer wheat for sale,
that we may make lthe ephah small and the shekel
An  ephah was about 3/5 bushel or 22 liters; a  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
great
and deal deceitfully with false balances,
6that we may buy the poor for nsilver
and the needy for a pair of sandals
and sell the chaff of the wheat?”

Micah 1:12

12For the inhabitants of Maroth
wait anxiously for good,
because disaster has come down ofrom the Lord
to the gate of Jerusalem.

Micah 6:10-11

10Can I forget any longer the treasures
Or Are there still treasures
of wickedness in the house of the wicked,
and the scant measure that is accursed?
11Shall I acquit the man qwith wicked scales
and with a bag of deceitful weights?

Habakkuk 2:9-11

9 rWoe to him who gets evil gain for his house,
sto tset his nest on high,
to be safe from the reach of harm!
10You have devised shame for your house
uby cutting off many peoples;
you have forfeited your life.
11For vthe stone will cry out from the wall,
and the beam from the woodwork respond.
