Proverbs 1:11-13

11 If they say, “Come with us, ^alet us lie in wait for blood;
^blet us ambush the innocent without reason;
12 like Sheol let us ^cswallow them alive,
and whole, like ^dthose who go down to the pit;
13 we shall find all precious goods,
we shall fill our houses with plunder;

Hosea 12:7-8

7 A merchant, in whose hands are ^efalse balances,
he loves ^fto oppress.
8 Ephraim has said, “Ah, but ^gI am rich;
I have found wealth for myself;
in all my labors ^hthey cannot find in me iniquity or sin.”

Amos 8:4-6

4 Hear this, ⁱyou who trample on the needy
and bring the poor of the land to an end,

that we may sell grain?

that we may offer wheat for sale,

Micah 1:12

12 For the inhabitants of Maroth
wait anxiously for good,

Micah 6:10-11
