The Call of Wisdom

20 ^aWisdom cries aloud in the street,
in the markets she raises her voice;
21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out;
at ^bthe entrance of the city gates she speaks:

Proverbs 8:2-3

2 On ^cthe heights beside the way,
at the crossroads she takes her stand;
3 beside ^dthe gates in front of ^ethe town,
at the entrance of the portals she cries aloud:

Proverbs 8:34

34 ^fBlessed is the one who listens to me,
watching daily at my gates,
waiting beside my doors.

Luke 14:21-23

21 So the servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house became angry and said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly to the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in ^gthe poor and crippled and blind and lame.’ 22 And the servant said, ‘Sir, what you commanded has been done, and still there is room.’ 23 And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.
